Coming from outside the political establishment allows me to bring clarity and courage to Congress. My activism confronting economic predators, environmental racism, Injustice in the criminal justice system, and educational inequity reflects a consistent ethic: power must be challenged when it harms, not protected when it profits. Power must be used to serve, especially “the least of these.”

This is what it means to bring an outside vision into the house:

• Governing with conscience.

• Legislating with integrity.

• Holding power accountable without fear or favoritism.

• Bringing the voices of the people to the people's house.
