My activism against the payday and car title loan industry reflects a clear value:

no one should be trapped in cycles of debt simply because they are poor. These

industries extract wealth from communities that are already underbanked and stripped

of opportunity, disproportionately targeting Black, Brown, and neglected neighborhoods.
