Our Campaign’s Top Issues

The United States Congress does not suffer from a lack of insiders. Instead, it lacks imagination rooted in the lived experiences of everyday people. For too long, policymaking has centered on corporate interests, political convenience, and systems that benefit the few while harming many. District 30 has a history of dynamic servant-leaders who actively worked for the people. The late Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson served the people with conscience, and Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett continues the noble fight for the most vulnerable. I will extend the legacy of championing the people's cause, doing what I have always done, but adding the political podium to the prophetic pulpit. I will fight for you. District 30 deserves a representative who brings an outside vision—one shaped not by lobbyist talking points but by listening to and serving with working people, organizing on the ground, standing up to economic predators, marching and mobilizing for justice, confronting and combating environmental injustice, and fighting for educational justice fueled by a love for and belief in humanity that crafts policies for all to thrive.
